A live studio series and podcast hosted by Mary Brophy and broadcast on KCLR, combines a mix of intimate interviews, studio discussion and conversations with women across Africa and Asia to tell a story of contemporary life from a female perspective. Mary talks with leading Irish women in their fields of architecture, farming, creative industries, advocacy, business and politics, as they explore issues of rights, access, sexism and visibility through the experience of their work and lives. Across eight episodes, the series also features international stories and conversations including the female led Sangham Radio in Pastapur India, Florence Shakafuswa, a land ownership rights advocate in Katuba Zambia, and political participation with Dr. Odette Nyiramilimo, a former Minister and Senator in Rwanda.
